Vote and take part

Your chapter, your say

Vote, delegate, propose or join in. No forms, no sign-ups: it all starts with an email.

Vote

The election takes place at the General Assembly (the chapter's ordinary annual meeting) on Thursday 26 November 2026. Each member has one vote. The chapter's official notice will state the venue, the time and the ways to take part. The Assembly and its documents are in Spanish: write to us in English and we will translate the official notice for you.

Delegate

In three steps

  1. Choose a member who will attend the General Assembly. It can be any member you trust.
  2. Fill in the official form that the chapter will publish with the notice of the meeting. Write to us and we will help you with the Spanish.
  3. Sign it and submit it as the notice indicates, before the deadline.
What the Statutes say

You can delegate your vote to any member you choose (Statutes, art. 36). It is done in writing, stating the date and type of meeting, with proper identification of both the person delegating and the person receiving the vote; if you do not state the agenda items, it covers all of them.

Use the official form the chapter publishes with the notice of the meeting and submit it as the notice indicates (the form for the last Assembly required a copy of an identity document or a digital signature). If you have questions, write to us: please do not send us your identity document.

Sample wording (the form itself is in Spanish)

I, [full name, membership number], delegate my vote to [full name], a member of ISACA Madrid, for the General Assembly of 26 November 2026, for all items on the agenda. [Date and signature.]

Speaker, mentor, trainer or coordinator

After the General Assembly we will publish the first open call for speakers, mentors, trainers and coordinators, and any member will be able to apply. If you would like us to let you know, write to us.
